This freestanding elliptical staircase uses an ash stairjack which is plaster wrapped. The handrail and treads are white oak .The balusters are custom produced wrought iron. Risers are limestone. Note that while the staircase is elliptical, the tightest point of the inside radius is equivilant to 8 inches.
